I'm new to this forum. I am the proud and very smitten owner of a wonderful 4 year old Labradoodle named Sophie.
Sophie came from Australia but I live in Calgary, Alberta Canada.

I love that there is a forum just for this wonderful dog....

Thanks! Your guy is adorable too.

I flew her in with a pet specific flight service so that she was stopped and Vet checked/cuddled/walked twice during the flight and then I flew to Vancouver to pick her up. I stayed in Vancouver with her for several hours before we boarded for the last hour flight....
I was very worried about putting such a young pup (8 weeks), through such a long journey.
It cost about $1800.00 US to get her here. Well worth it to make sure that she arrived safe and sound. I'd do it again in a heart beat but sadly Sophie's breeder is no longer breeding.

Sophie's breeder gave me a huge break on her price partly because of the expense of shipping and also because she was going to a home to be a working 'demo dog' which meant she'd ALWAYS be with me.

Who says you can't buy love...
