I'm thinking about getting a dog whistle as Angus only comes back to me sometimes when I call him. Has anyone else used one and do they work?

yeah maybe i will get one for jerry as he just seems to think that he can run after and greet everyone!!!! he does come back to me but I think maybe that would work quicker.
we know a few people that use them and their dogs are soooooo well behaved it is almost unbelievable!!! but good though! will try it out and get back to you.... Confused Exclamation

I saw two springers the other day doing all sorts just to different notes on a whisel, it was amazing, I stood and watched for a little while wondering how the man did it. Then Otis ran over to them, jumping on top of them generally courseing mayhem. and would not come back when I called him. I was a bit embarrised! Surprised Surprised I quite like my scatty Dog though!!!!
I don't Know how much fun those springers were having?! Wink

I now have my dog whistle for Angus. Tried it out in the garden today - he did come back to me, but then ran off! I think he was just being nosey. It's gonna take a lot of training and treats Rolling Eyes
