Hi all...

Archie's just over 6 months old now, with a nice dark chocolate wavy/scruffy coat. His dad was a standard chocolate poodle, and his mom was a chocolate lab.

We've noticed recently that he's started to get a few grey hairs

Has anyone else seen this?....could it be a throwback to a previous generation of poodle perhaps...a silver one in the breeding line perhaps?

Angus is now 7 months old. He has a black wavy coat (mum was a black lab and dad a black standard poodle). He has silver feet now and started to get a brown mouth! I guess it must be due to his previous grandparents, etc?

I would be interested in any other information Very Happy

Jerry is the same,at 12 months we noticed that he started to have Blonde hair coming through and now both of his front legs have blonde streaks.
Jerry's mum was a cafe coloured poodle and we think thats why jerrys hair is going blonde!

You can really see the difference in colour on Jerry's legs.

Hi...here's some new pics of Archie at 6months...I'll upload them to the gallery as well, but you can see the grey hairs on his back on one of them...

Poor chap looks old before his time! Wink
