Hi im new to this forum and need some advice on labradoodles!

My wife really likes the look of the labradoodle and hopefully we will be going to view some pups soon,when we finally go and view the pups what shall we look for?(as we have never owned a dog before).

should my puppy come with any paper work? i.e certificate
is the labradoodle a good choice for first time dog owners?
what is the weight and height for a fully grown labradoodle?
